Cork oak woodlands are such a traditional landscape in Ribatejo and Alentejo. It is a beautiful landscape that reflect a unique tradition, the harvest from cork which is the bark from cork oak trees. Colours are intense and yet convey a peace that makes us stop in time. Cork oak woodlands are a landscape which has been living over generations. A landscape with a past, with a present and that we want to be with us in the future. This print is based on a original watercolour painting by Vera Guedes.
